The STRATOS hood offers a number of equipment details. A broad pad on the aquarium rim ensures an ideal covering of the upper aquarium edge and a perfect footing for the tank itself.
Our aluminium light bars, (splash-waterproof) are fixed to the lid and can be operated when the cover is open. When cleaning the aquarium you benefit from an antiglare light.

The hood can hold several light bars at the same time, depending on its size and as the material of the lid is aluminium it has a great advantage over plastic lids as it has its own heat dissipation system and is very strong.
