THE FRAME

The heart of the LINEA tropic aquarium series is always the robust and lightweight aluminium frame. This is specially alloyed and powder-coated in the colour of your choice.

The standard height is 85 cm - with a usable interior height of 77 cm. An extremely robust panel made of special plastic serves as the base of the cabinet. This makes the frame and base absolutely resistant to water.

The base cabinet has no rear panel, as the frame is extremely strong and stable. This ensures optimum air circulation and cables and hoses can be routed out with complete flexibility. On request, we can of course also fit a rear panel in the aquarium base cabinet.

All LINEA aquariums have a gravel cover in the same colour as the frame to conceal deposits and unsightly substrate.

The LINEA aquarium system rests completely on the floor, so there are no individual pressure loads.

THE AQUARIUM

Even for our smallest freshwater aquariums, we work with a glass thickness of 10 mm up to 15 mm. We use scratch-resistant German "Ultra View" Kirstall glass as standard.Ultra Clear white glass is used in our SQ 100 scaper lines, which can be ordered with any aquarium on request.
 
In our LINEA complete 85 sets, the aquarium already has a black aquarium back panel and a centrally positioned drying well.
 
All edges are elaborately diamond-ground and polished. Bonding is done by hand with special silicone, which is applied using the merh layer method. The elaborate production process and the long drying time of the individual layers are the reason why there has not been a single leaking or cracked Fimra Giesemann aquarium for more than 20 years.

As standard, we offer our aquariums in five frame colours and a wide variety of designs for sides and doors (decors). You can choose between glass, Acrylux and various wood decors.
