THE FRAME

The heart of the LINEA marine aquarium series is always the robust and lightweight aluminium frame. This is specially alloyed and powder-coated in the colour of your choice, making it absolutely water-resistant and resistant to salt water!

The standard height is 85 cm - with a usable interior height of 77 cm. An extremely robust panel made of special plastic serves as the base of the cabinet. This makes the frame and base absolutely resistant to water.

The base cabinet has no rear panel, as the frame is extremely strong and stable. This ensures optimum air circulation and cables and hoses can be routed out with complete flexibility. On request, we can of course also fit a rear panel in the aquarium base cabinet.

All LINEA aquariums have a gravel cover in the same colour as the frame to conceal deposits and unsightly substrate.

The LINEA aquarium system rests completely on the floor, so there are no individual pressure points.

THE AQUARIUM

Even with our smallest aquariums, we work with a glass thickness of 10 mm, up to 15 mm. We use robust, scratch-resistant German "Ultra View" Kirstall glass as standard. Our special "complete" models use Ultra Clear white glass, which can be ordered with any aquarium on request.

In our complete sets LINEA complete 85, the aquarium already has a black aquarium back panel, as well as a centrally positioned drying well and is a pool without struts

All edges are elaborately diamond-cut and polished. Bonding is done by hand with special silicone, which is applied in a multi-layer process. The elaborate production process and the long drying time of the individual layers are the reason why there has not been a single leaking or cracked aquarium from Giesemann for more than 25 years.

THE DESIGN

As standard, we offer our aquariums in five frame colours and a wide variety of designs for sides and doors (decors). You can choose between glass, Acrylux and various wood decors.

SUSTAINABLE & STRONG LIKE NO OTHER REEF TANK

For us, sustainability is not just a contemporary phrase, but a lived practice. We endeavour to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. This starts with the choice of materials we use, which come from Germany. Be it the glass, the wood or the aluminium. The entire production takes place in Nettetal on the Lower Rhine.

As a result, we not only protect the environment by not importing any materials, but have also been safeguarding German jobs for 30 years and spare parts or decorative elements are still readily available / replaceable even after many years.

We also use German crystal glass (ESG) and furniture doors from premium German manufacturers when selecting the materials for our decors. These have the highest water resistance on the market due to their laser-welded edges.

The multi-chamber filter sump

In our LINEA COMPLETE series, the multi-chamber filter sump is included in the scope of delivery. However, the technical tank must be ordered as an option for customised aquarium systems. As each aquarium has different individual requirements in terms of technology and equipment, we also offer the option of producing a customised technical tank on request.
